Refund policy

1. Eligibility for Returns

Customers may request a return or refund within 7 days from the date the order is received, provided that the item meets the following conditions:

  • Item is unused and in original condition
  • Complete with original packaging, manuals, and accessories
  • No signs of installation, misuse, or damage
  • Proof of purchase/order number is provided

Buildwell Depot reserves the right to inspect returned items before approving refunds or replacements.

 

2. Valid Reasons for Return

Returns or refunds may be approved for the following:

  • Wrong item received
  • Defective or damaged upon arrival
  • Missing items or incomplete order
  • Item is significantly different from the product listing.

Note: Color/packaging may vary slightly from product photo. Customers are encouraged to inspect products immediately upon delivery. 

 

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are generally non-returnable unless proven defective upon arrival:

  • Installed or used electrical products
  • Cut wires/cables
  • Custom or special-order items
  • Clearance or sale items
  • Products damaged due to improper installation or handling
  • Items without original packaging

For safety reasons, certain electrical products cannot be resold once used or installed.

 

4. Damaged or Defective Items

If an item arrives damaged or defective:

Contact Buildwell Depot within 48 hours of receiving the order and provide the following:

  • Order Number
  • Photos/videos of the item
  • Photos of packaging and shipping label

Failure to provide complete documentation may delay processing.

 

5. Return Shipping

  • If the error is caused by Buildwell Depot. Return shipping costs will be shouldered by Buildwell Depot.
  • If the return is due to customer preference, the customer will shoulder the return shipping fees
  • All return requests are subject to review by Buildwell Depot.

 

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method whenever possible.

Estimated processing times:

  • E-wallets / online payments: 3–10 business days
  • Bank transfers: 3–7 business days
  • COD orders: refund via bank transfer

Shipping fees are generally non-refundable unless the issue is caused by Buildwell Depot.

 

7. Replacement Policy

Eligible items may qualify for replacement or refund depending on:

  • Stock availability
  • Item condition
  • Nature of the issue

 

8. Order Cancellation

Orders may only be cancelled before shipment confirmation. Once the order has been shipped or handed to the courier, cancellation requests can no longer be accommodated.

 

9. Refused Deliveries

Orders refused without a valid reason may:

  • Incur shipping charges
  • Affect eligibility for future COD orders
